TriviaEdit

Although it was once popularly believed that there was a trick in the wording or grammar of this event that gave away the correct answer, that is false as per the Advanced Edition update, if it was ever true to begin with. In actuality, the correct answer is simply the number corresponding to the number of moons described in the intro text, and as such, it is recommended to record that number once this event is found, to ensure answering correct. This event, simply put, rewards observant players.

This event is called "SLUG_DISTRESS_QUESTION" in the datafiles. Oddly, the event text for answering incorrectly puts one sentence in quotations, but not the other, even though the slug is clearly speaking. Assuming it is not a typo, perhaps the second sentence's notation is supposed to represent a telepathic statement.
